Essenlix was founded in 2013 by Dr. Stephen Chou and Dr. Lin Chou. Stephen Chou, a professor at Princeton University and a serial entrepreneur, is one of the world’s leading nanotechnology experts with deep experience in bioengineering and sensors as well as clinical diagnostics. Lin Chou has been an internist for over 30 years.

Equally important, to develop its proprietary iMOST platform, Essenlix has brought together a multidisciplinary, albeit unconventional, technical team of industry, healthcare and academia veterans, covering bio-engineering, nanotechnology, advanced imaging, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and medicine, in addition to its business and manufacturing team.

Essenlix has attracted a group of experienced investors including Quadrant Management and Carret Private Investments.
